Finally Ban a Person who in charge gave me a solutions in details, his enthusiastic work make me less stress. Owe Ivan a review for 2 months. Recently very busy with work and besides I would like to see how’s my reno quality after 2 months before giving my review. Downstairs neighbour nvr complains about water leaking from their ceiling. (a very plus points for me). Let’s break down to individual part: 1) Understanding what you want or expect (Sol and Hui Kian) – very very good. 2) Coordination with their contractors (Sol and Hui Kian) – very very good. Able to reno my resale EM in 2 months’ time (I didn’t change living room & bedroom tiles). Btw I nvr reno special special theme, mostly very basic things. If you going to reno special special theme, better check with them the time taken. 3) False ceiling, Partition wall, hacking, painting, TV mounting (Empirework’s Bangala) – Workmanship very very good. They take their initiative to touch up if they feel not perfect. Attached is the TV mounting they do for me, u can see that the balancing is just nice in the middle. 4) Carpentry – Workmanship good. Despite few mistakes, manage to give me what I want/expect. I got a last change of mind on my living room laminate cupboard, and they willing to change it for me. 5) Plumber (their contractor) – Workmanship ok. Never tighten my water heater pipe. One of my toilet sink & kitchen sink nvr do properly, water was leaking. Rectified after I mentioned to them. But not all plumber not good, the one that come to rectify the issue one not bad, also tell me that the pipe hole from my washing machine to the kitchen sink below is too small. Hui Kian immediately ask the tilers to open bigger so that I can move in in time. 6) Tilers (their contractor) – Workmanship good. I haven’t seen any uneven wall tiles or floor tiles yet. 7) Electrician (their contactor, Ah Heng) – Workmanship good. Give suggestion for my dual light switch. But recently my house kena tripped, kitchen light spoil after the tripped. Not sure is he nvr do properly or my kitchen light (Not branded) is lousy. I replaced it myself. 8) Windows, bedrooms/kitchen/fireproof doors (their contractor) – Workmanship ok. Nothing much to comment 9) Staircase (their contractor) – Workmanship very good. Better to be there if u free cause u can check whether the wood handle is sand properly a not. U can let them know if still not good, and they sand it straight away. Overall, Ivan’s own ppl (Empirework employee) are very very good. If u ask me whether I will recommend them to my friends/colleagues, I will. As they met my 2 expectation, Firstly they “nvr run road” (see a lot cases in newspaper, and just happen I got 1 friend of mine been cheated also), Secondly, they finished my reno on time. Besides, their price also quite competitive.
