KK was extremely attentive, responsive, and understood our requests really well. I was surprised by the detail he remembered from our discussions, and he gave advice that was practical and sensible.When it came to execution, much of the team (electricians, plumbers, etc.) wear these EW Warrior shirts, so they didn't outsource our work to other subcons. That means we felt like KK had a lot more visibility over the timing and quality of work. Communication and coordination was very clear, both with KK and the workmen, and they were all very transparent on what was and wasn't possible, any risks to note.Overall, very satisfied and would recommend EW!

Engaging Empire Works as our BTO renovation contractor was the right choice we made. We met few other contractors but they do not scrutinise our plans but agree to everything even if it don’t make sense.With Empire Works it is a different experience, they are upfront to us on the pros n cons and leave it to us to decide after. We are able to pick their brains on ideas and suggestions.The few important factors about them are that they (a) respond very quickly (b) assured us with pictures on reno updates (c) very transparent about pricing (d) updated us on delays with valid reasons (e) visited our house even at midnight to check after their contractors are done with the days’ work (f) give good vibes.From start till end of renovation it was a great experience with them. We can feel that they do things out of passion and honesty and I will always remember Ivan telling me “Don’t waste money lah bro”. 😂🤭 But really thank you Empire Works (Ivan, Alex and Jave) we will definitely engage you on our next house!

I approached Empire Works last year to assist with cat grilles, and they knew exactly what was required. And along with the grilles, Empire Works also quoted for door and gates that were suitable for pets without need for further meshing. Quality very decent for the price, workmanship above average. But what impressed me most was Ivan's attentiveness and attendance. He took all my calls, heard my grouse and promptly followed up. Even a year later, he attends to bits and pieces. I'm happy to have used Empire Works, and recommend them for your specialised grilles and gates.

Recommended by my dad's colleague to check them out and I didn't regret choosing them. Sherwin and Jave have always been patient with us throughout this journey and they never disappoint us. They cater to our needs and wants and also managed to keep in within the budget. Thanks guys! 🙂

This review came a tad too late but better late than never 🙂My Husband and I had bought a 5-room resale flat which didn’t need much renovation in Feb 2019 but we still wanted changes done to both bathrooms and some parts of our home.I emailed Ivan our renovation requirements as well as the budget we are comfortable with the moment we received the keys to our home and he replied instantly, providing me with his phone number for easy communication.It was during CNY period when we got the keys to our home but Ivan still came down to our home to take a look anyway although he had a reunion dinner to attend thereafter. He really attended to me as though I wanted the whole house done when really, all I wanted to renovate were the bathrooms and painting of the walls. Upon hearing I was pregnant (I’ve since given birth, hehe), he immediately suggested for the master bathroom to have ample space to fit baby’s bathtub.Quotation was given right after he had done the tour of our home and I am grateful for the suggestions he had given so that we could save on our cost. He was simply genuine and enthusiastic - it was as if we were friends (which we are now, although renovation had ended).The renovation process was a breeze because updates were given daily via WhatsApp and since I was in my first trimester, making frequent trips to see the progress was near impossible. He even accommodated to our timeline because we had to rush things due to my husband’s working schedule. His men worked the night to make miracles happen.All these wouldn’t be possible without Jave, too, who was there all the time! Jave would send countless of pictures, complete with smiley faces, just so I could put my mind to ease with regards to the renovation progress. Even after renovation was completed, Jave still made the trip down to do a last quality check and was also instantly contactable when we experienced some problems with the padlock 😅Every time a family or friend mentioned that they are looking for a renovation company, I will immediately recommend Empire Works for the various reasons aformentioned. Everything was within budget and didn’t burn a hole in my pocket 🙂Thank you Ivan and Jave for the pleasant renovation experience!
